More Than is a trading name of EUI Limited, a subsidiary of Admiral Group plc, regulated by the FCA under firm reference 309378. It is no longer part of RSA, which has itself since rebranded as Intact Insurance.
You will find guides — and, until we checked, our own records — saying the brand is closed to new and renewing customers. That was true of RSA. It is not true of the brand. Verified

No longer sold at all: car, van, travel, life, caravan and motorhome, and landlord cover. The landlord page says outright that they are not offering it to new or existing customers, and points to Admiral. Verified
If you were a customer
Where everybody went
- Car insurance customers. Cover ceased in September 2023. Those on automatic renewal were moved across to Swinton Insurance; everyone else simply ran to expiry and had to find their own replacement. If you are looking for a More Than car renewal, there is not one to find. Verified
- Home and pet customers. The renewal rights went to Admiral, and policies began renewing onto Admiral from the second half of 2024. Liabilities on policies written before the sale stayed with RSA. Verified
- Anyone with a genuinely old policy. RSA — now Intact — still runs a legacy self-service portal for its residual More Than policies. It publishes no phone number at all. Verified

How it happened
The timeline
- 1 September 2023 More Than stopped selling car insurance. RSA exited the line, taking around £120m of annual premiums with it.
- 2 April 2024 Admiral completed its purchase of the More Than brand and the renewal rights to its home and pet books, for £82.5m plus contingent consideration.
- From Q3 2024 Existing home and pet policies began renewing onto Admiral. Liabilities on pre-existing policies stayed with RSA.
- 19 August 2024 Pet underwriting moved to AIGL.
- 6 October 2025 RSA rebranded as Intact Insurance, ending the RSA name in the UK market.
